Rally Helper Components – WidgetAI | Custom Agile

ProjectPicker / MultiProjectPicker

Self-loading project picker that fetches the project hierarchy from Rally and renders it as an expandable tree. Single-select with ProjectPicker, multi-select with pill tags using MultiProjectPicker.

IterationPicker

Self-loading combobox that fetches iterations from Rally and auto-selects the current iteration by default. Replaces Rally.ui.combobox.IterationComboBox behavior with no manual store wiring.

ReleasePicker

Same pattern as IterationPicker, scoped to releases. Auto-selects the current active release. Drop it in, get the right default, move on.

MilestonePicker

Self-loading milestone combobox. Mirrors Rally.ui.combobox.MilestoneComboBox behavior including the current scope filtering and target-date sorting.

ArtifactTypePicker

Combobox for selecting one or more Rally artifact types. Items come from the type registry, no WSAPI calls needed. Use it for type filters in custom queries or in feature-rich dialogs that span multiple artifact types.

ArtifactChooserDialog

Modal dialog for searching and selecting Rally artifacts. Search bar, optional type filter, and a results list that supports single or multi-select. The component most legacy "find an artifact" workflows ended up reimplementing.

TagPicker

Standalone tag chooser for Rally artifacts. Fetches workspace tags, supports search, multi-select, and inline tag creation. Also exports a TagPills display component for read-only contexts.

FieldValueCombobox

Combobox that auto-populates from a Rally field's constrained values. Uses compile-time field metadata, so no API call is needed at runtime. Perfect for dropdowns on enum fields and state pickers that should always reflect what Rally currently allows.

ScheduleState

Horizontal state-progress meter for Rally schedule states (Defined, In-Progress, Completed, Accepted). Matches the visual output of Rally.ui.renderer.template.ScheduleStateTemplate. Drop into grid cells, card layouts, or detail views.
