What It Does
Point Grid at a Rally artifact type and a list of field names. It generates the columns automatically from Rally's field metadata, picks the right renderer for each type (formatted IDs, dates, owners, schedule states), and handles the WSAPI query for you.
Inline editing, sorting, filtering, multi-select rows, row actions menus, and column reordering all work out of the box.
Why It Matters for Migration
Grid is the React replacement for the Rally App SDK's grid components. The migration tool maps your old grid configurations directly onto Grid props. Custom column definitions, custom renderers, and editable cells survive the conversion intact.

The Grid is also the foundation for the TreeGrid. Anything Grid does, TreeGrid inherits, plus the hierarchy support on top.
